❤️ FLAW Warrior Spotlight: Andrea Oates ❤️
For years, Andrea Oates knew something was wrong.
Not just “tired”—the kind of exhaustion that feels like an elephant sitting on your chest every single day. She searched for answers, visited doctor after doctor, and underwent countless tests, yet no one could explain why she felt like she was slowly fading.
A friend suggested B-12 injections, which helped… but only a little.
Deep down, Andrea knew something wasn’t right.
Then one day, she saw a Facebook ad for Happy Health & Wellness. The only problem? It was a three-hour round trip from home.
She almost didn’t go.
But that one decision changed everything.
The team at Happy Health & Wellness listened. They believed her when she said something was wrong and encouraged additional testing that ultimately led to the diagnosis that years of appointments had missed.
Andrea had thyroid cancer.
While hearing the word cancer was terrifying, it also brought answers.
She wasn’t lazy.
She wasn’t imagining things.
Her body had been trying to tell her something all along.
Today, after successful treatment, Andrea stood alongside the incredible team who helped start her journey to healing while her daughter held a sign that read:
“Thank you for saving my mommy.” ❤️
There aren’t enough words to describe a moment like that.
Andrea hopes her story encourages others to trust their instincts and advocate for themselves.
If you know something isn’t right, don’t stop searching for answers. Keep asking questions. Get another opinion if you need one. Sometimes one appointment, one conversation, or one leap of faith can change your life.
At FLAW, we are honored to celebrate warriors like Andrea, whose courage reminds us that hope, persistence, and self-advocacy truly save lives.
💙 Thank you, Andrea, for sharing your journey and inspiring others to keep fighting.

Our hearts are so full after spending the evening painting, laughing, sharing stories, and supporting one another. 💙
