Happy Thursday! 💙
Facebook reminded us of this memory today, and it made me smile. It’s hard to believe it’s already that time of year again—we’re officially gearing up for this year’s FLAW Thriver Gala! ✨
Every donation, every volunteer, and every sponsor helped make a difference for cancer warriors and their families.
We’re getting ready to do it all again, and we’d love to have you be a part of it!
If you’d like to donate a silent auction item, volunteer, become a sponsor, or partner with FLAW, send us a message. We’d love to connect!

Congratulations to all of today’s Kiwanis scholarship recipients! 🎓👏
It was a pleasure attending today’s Kiwanis meeting and celebrating these outstanding students and their achievements. Investing in our youth is investing in the future of our community.
We also loved catching up with our friend and fellow warrior, Dr. Don Duplantier, who was proudly wearing one of our new Fight Like a Warrior (FLAW) T-shirts! 💙
We’ve had several people ask about them, so we’re getting ready to place another order.
👕 If you’d like to order a FLAW T-shirt, drop a comment below or send us a message! We’ll make sure you’re on the list for our next order.
Thank you to the Kiwanis Club for everything you do to support our community and recognize the next generation of leaders. 💙

“You have Stage IV cancer.”
Those are four words no one ever expects to hear.
Our founder, Taysha D Gibbs, heard them at just 41 years old. Instead of letting cancer define her, she chose to fight—and today, that journey has become a mission to ensure no one faces cancer alone.
Last month, Ochsner Health reshared Taysha’s story in honor of National Cancer Survivors Day, and we’re honored to share it with our FLAW family and beyond.
Whether you’re a patient, survivor, caregiver, healthcare provider, or someone who has lost a loved one to cancer, we hope this story reminds you that there is always hope, and you are never alone. 🎗️
💙 Watch the video, then leave a comment: What message of hope would you give someone who was just diagnosed with cancer?
And if this story touches your heart, please like, comment, and share it. Your share could help the very person who needs hope today.
Thank you, Ochsner Health, for continuing to share this journey and for the compassionate care you provide to so many warriors and their families.
