Join the Fight Like A Warrior (FLAW) Foundation for an unforgettable evening celebrating the strength, resilience, and courage of individuals and families impacted by cancer.
The 2026 Thriver Gala: Lights of Hope will bring together cancer survivors, thrivers, caregivers, healthcare professionals, community leaders, advocates, and supporters for a night filled with inspiration, connection, celebration, and purpose.
We are honored to welcome Dr. Amy Rivere, Surgical Oncologist with Ochsner MD Anderson Cancer Center, as our guest speaker for the evening.
The Gala will also include a special recognition and pinning ceremony for the Founding Cohort of FLAW Warrior Mentors—survivors, thrivers, caregivers, loved ones, and supporters who completed FLAW’s inaugural Warrior Mentor Academy and are now prepared to walk alongside others navigating the cancer journey.
Guests will enjoy live music by Category 6, delicious food, an open bar, a silent auction, a 50/50 raffle, and other special moments throughout the evening.
Most importantly, the Thriver Gala raises critical funds to advance FLAW’s mission of providing mentorship, education, advocacy, community outreach, and survivorship resources to men, women, and children facing every type of cancer, along with their caregivers and families throughout St. Bernard Parish and the Greater New Orleans region.
Together, we will celebrate those who have fought, honor those we have lost, support those still fighting, and continue building a community where no one has to face cancer alone.

Fight Like A Warrior (FLAW) Foundation is a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving St. Bernard Parish and communities throughout the Greater New Orleans region.
Our mission is to support men, women, and children of all ages facing all types of cancer, along with their caregivers and families, through mentorship, education, advocacy, community outreach, and survivorship resources.
We are committed to ensuring that no cancer warrior or family has to navigate the cancer journey alone.
Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by cancer.
