FOUNDER STORY
Taysha D. Gibbs
Taysha Gibbs’ journey is one marked by resilience, faith, and an unwavering commitment to helping others.
After facing her own cancer diagnosis, Taysha experienced firsthand the emotional, physical, and mental toll that comes with the fight. But beyond the diagnosis, she also saw a deeper need—support, guidance, and genuine connection for individuals and families navigating one of the most difficult seasons of their lives.
Rather than allowing her experience to break her, she chose to let it build something greater.
Through faith, perseverance, and a heart to serve, Taysha turned her pain into purpose and founded FLAW Foundation (Fight Like a Warrior). What began as a vision to support others has grown into a mission to ensure that no one has to face cancer alone.
FLAW Foundation was created to provide mentorship, education, advocacy, and community support to cancer warriors, survivors, thrivers, and their families. Taysha’s passion is rooted in making sure every individual feels seen, supported, and empowered throughout their journey.
Her story is not just one of survival—it is one of transformation, leadership, and service.
Today, she continues to use her voice, her faith, and her experience to uplift others, reminding every warrior that even in the midst of the fight, there is strength, hope, and purpose.
