Supporting someone who has cancer

Family & Friends of someone who has cancer often want to help, but do not know how.

Below are some resources on supporting someone who has cancer:

Motivating a Loved one with Cancer

“As a metastatic breast cancer survivor, I’ve experienced moments where I simply needed motivation from the people I love most. Sometimes, all it takes is a simple text or call to check in on how things are going. Often, loved ones might feel unsure of what to say or do, leading them to do nothing. As cancer survivors, it is also important for us to communicate our needs to others and let them know how they can support us.”
Taysha D. Gibbs, FLAW Founder/Director
